You know that thing when you see someone cute and he smiles and your heart kind of goes like warm butter sliding down hot toast? Well that's what it's like when I see a store. Only it's better.

My new toy is...
...battery operated! Haha! Old school, no?
It's actually an AM/FM player, which I named, Lola ('cause it's OLD school nga-- get it, OLD?). Haha! We have a radio player at home which I always used, to listen to z100 every morning when my Mom leaves for work. I, now, can't use it anymore because when my Mom leaves for work, my Lolo remains and he watches the television. I remember, my old Nokia phone which had a built in radio on it. I loved that phone but I couldn't bring it here with me 'cause it wasn't tri-band. Huhu! And both phones I'm using at present, a Nokia and a MotoRazr, doesn't have built in radio's on them so I was ecstatic when I found this treasure lying around the house-- inside my Mom's cabinet, to be exact.
For some reason, I like listening to the radio better than listening to my iPod. I guess because with radio, you'll never know what songs are gonna play next. I love that "surprise me" feeling! Haha! Before, I used to listen to the radio more often than watch TV. When we were at the dorms, we had no TV and so we lived on FM radio-- always tuned in to Magic89.9 alone. I miss that!

Anyway, here's another kwento. This morning, I went downstairs to do the laundry, looking like this:
The "kakagising lang" look meaning; un-suklay-ed hair, oversized white pambahay shirt and Piglet-printed pajama bottoms. Heehee! In short, the basura look. Hey, but I brushed my teeth and washed my face ha!
So yun nga, I was almost done with it- I only needed to get the clothes out of the dryer, when I realized that there was only 1 laundry basket. ONLY ONE... and there were 4 of us who needed to use it! With me were 2 Espanol-speaking people: an old lady and a guy who looked like he was in his late twenties, and a white girl who looked like she was in her early thirties. So while the Espanols were talking amongst themselves, I talked to the white girl and we both thought it would only be best if we call our building Super, Carlos. Since I had my cellphone with me, I volunteered to do it. Carlos said he was gonna try to look for the other baskets on the other floors and that he couldn't do anything about it because our other neighbors, who are jerks in my opinion, take them and claim them as their own!
I thought it would be nice to just give it to the old lady because kawawa naman if we let her carry her laundry. I guess the other 2 agreed cause they were quiet naman. On my way to the elevator, the Spanish guy, who at that time was standing at the door, said "Hey sweetie!", in a really low, really pasexy voice. Haha! It was funny... so I just smiled at him and then continued to walk! Walalang! Morning pick-me-upper kasi I looked so kadiri and yet he still thought I looked like a "sweetie!" Haha! LOL! It would be akward, though, if I see him one of these days on the corridors... Walalang, I'm just flattered, and a bit kilig... Ahaha! Sorry, Mr. Christian Delgadoooo!!!!! =P
P.S. I just discovered that there's an iPhone app for AM/FM radio!!! It's called Slacker, yata! Waah!! I wanttt!!!
